APM (LAO) Securities Company Limited ("APM Lao") was established in Lao P.D.R. to provide financial consulting services to private corporations and individual clients since 2013. In November 2013, APM Lao received its Financial Advisory license, issued by the Lao Securities Exchange and Commission Office (SECO), to provide these services in the country.
Our team at APM Lao consists of both Thai and Lao professionals. Likewise, our management team are professionals, who have all had experience in Corporate Finance, Accounting, Investment Banking and Research for over 20 years.
APM was founded on 29 July 1991 by Dr. Somphob Sakpunpanom together with five other financial specialists. The company provided full financial advisory services to businesses, drawing on its capability and experience in project finance and financial advisory work.
In 1997 Thailand went through an economic crisis. Businesses came to see the importance of financial management and began appointing financial advisors to help plan their operations.
Asset Pro Management Co., Ltd. (APM) began providing full financial advisory services to businesses and companies in June 1998.
In 1999 APM was approved by the Corporate Debt Restructuring Advisory Committee (CDRAC), Bank of Thailand, as a financial advisor for debt restructuring.
On 12 July 2006 APM was approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a financial advisory company.

APM (LAO) Securities Co., Ltd. (APMLAO) was founded to advise businesses and guide their development using financial principles. The Lao Securities Commission Office (LSCO) granted APMLAO its financial advisory licence in November 2013.
APM (LAO) Leasing Co., Ltd. was founded and licensed by the Bank of the Lao PDR in 2017 to operate leasing and insurance businesses, extending the group into the money and capital markets.
Licensed as a financial advisor by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Cambodia (SECC) in 2018.
APM (LAO) Securities Co., Ltd. (APMLAO) is a subsidiary of Asset Pro Management Co., Ltd. (APM), which has been licensed as a financial advisor by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Thailand for more than 17 years.
APMLAO received its licence to operate as a financial advisor under the supervision of the Lao Securities Commission Office (LSCO) in November 2013.
